RELAY FOR LIFE - ANOTHER SUCCESS

April 25th and 26th the All University Relay in Cleveland Circle got a little taste of the amazing strength of Todd Schwartz and all his friends.   The Relay For Life is an 18 hour event to raise money for the American Cancer  Society where one person from each team must constantly be walking around the track to symbolize that a person with cancer is always struggling with cancer.
This year with more than 70 teams, Boston succeeded in raising more than $82,000 for the American Cancer Society's research, education, advocacy, and patient services programs. Team Todd was famous from the second we stepped on the track, EVERYONE had been talking about us because of the amazing amount of money we had raised. Our camp site was entirely blue yellow and red, inspired by our very own superman, and could be seen from anywhere in Cleveland Circle thanks to the balloons, banners, and streamers. The two Todd inspired teams
together raised one third of the entire relays earnings, Team Umass bringing in almost $1,400, while Team Todd took home the trophy raising more than $8,000!! At the end very few teams actually made it through the night and walked the 18 hours in the rain, but we stuck it out knowing that Todd was right beside us the entire way. I'd like to thank everyone who donated and
mention that donations can still be made online or through the mail up until August.
